How to Lose Weight After 40

I’m not a sales guy. I’m just a regular guy who does regular stuff. I just have a little story…

I’ve been a fat kid my entire life! It doesn’t matter how thin I get, I look in the mirror and still see this 12 year old fat kid!! It’s bad for me. It’s hard for me to get momentum and start to feel good about myself and feel confident when I walk into a room.

At 39 I was feeling pretty good, I weighed about 240 pounds and then on my 40th birthday I did something to my back. I thought, ‘Oh my gosh, what happened?’ My wife said, ‘you turned 40!’

I went to the doctor and he said there was something wrong and it was from living kind of recklessly as a young adult.

So my L4 and L5 were displaced and the doctor told me I had to lose weight. When I moved from Orange County, I weighed 210 pounds and I was going to the gym everyday with my buddy, Keith! I moved to Sacramento, I was working 80-90 hours a week and my lifestyle changed drastically! I had cut out the thing that made me feel the best! I wasn’t taking care of myself!

In October I quit my job, moved back down to Southern California, found a job and thought, ‘Okay, what else do I need to do to feel better?’

When I met Keith he said, ‘Hey, you should try these products!’

I have 9 bags of Shakeology, 4 E&E’s, the slimming formula, ActiVit, P90X bars and every single supplement I had in my cupboard. I decided It was time to get serious. So I did!

My schedule now: I wake up at 4am, drink some E&E, go to the gym until 6am, I go home and drink a Shakeology and some recovery formula. I do have before and after pictures but I’m not gonna show you yet…I’m not really comfortable showing you. Maybe in another 8 weeks. In fact my buddy I work out with now wants to see my before pics and I’m not quite there yet.

I’ve lost about 24 pounds since October and most of that has been in the last 8 weeks. I’ve done everything the directions tell me to do! I feel great!!! I don’t have to go to the doctor, or the chiropractor or anything! I just have to keep getting up and keep doing what I’m doing!
