Hi my name is Holly Hierman, CEO of Fit Finances and I am a dog LOVER!!! If you’ve been following me for awhile then you know that I absolutely adore my pit bull, Dixie! She’s been with me for many, many years and today I want to share a success story of HERS! Because she can’t share it with you, right? I want to tell you a little bit about her experience with the product known as, Shakeology!
Now, I know what you’re thinking already, “This lady is crazy! She gives her dog a meal replacement shake!” But hold the phone! I want you to hear me out 🙂
So a few years back, we didn’t have any children at the time but we had this incredible dog that had been with me for several years, Dixie. One day I got the phone call that she had been diagnosed with cancer! We went to oncologists, she was on chemotherapy for 6 months, we had dozens and dozens of lumps removed off of her skin and we did just about everything we possibly could do to eliminate the cancer. She was growing level 1, level 2 cancer tumors right underneath her skin.
After chemo we had to go back every couple months for check ups but then after about 4 months, the bumps started growing back. And they were testing positive for cancer again. The vet said they would just start removing the bumps. I didn’t know what to do so I started praying! I wasn’t quite sure how many times she could go through chemo. The doctors recommended they would keep an eye on her, keep removing the bumps and to keep her on the vitamins because they would help fight against the cancer. But the problem was, the bumps kept coming back!
After praying about it for awhile, I had heard some stories of some people, (yes humans), being on Shakeology whose cancers had gone in remission. Now, I’m not a Doctor and Beachbody doesn’t make this claim whatsoever!! All I know is, there are a lot of cancer fighting properties in Shakeologyitself,that combats the elements that develop cancer. So, I thought to myself, “I’m just gonna go for this!”
Well, Dixie is 70 pounds, kinda like half a human so I’m gonna give her half a shake a day. In fact, a lot of times that’s what’s recommended for children: a quarter or a half a dose, or half a shake.
I figured I had nothing to lose! We had already spent about $10,000 on chemotherapy and I don’t know how many thousands on anesthesia and having these bumps removed so I thought let’s go for it!
I postponed our next cancer appointment about 2 months because I wanted to give it a good solid 2 months of Dixie being on Shakeology before taking her back to her oncologist. She grew 18 new bumps and 2 of them had already tested positive for cancer.
I asked her oncologist if she saw anything wrong with her drinking Shakeology and she said no. She was already on other human vitamins and we’ll just see what happens.
So, 2 months go by and we go back to the vet and one of the cancerous tumors had completely shrunk, they couldn’t even find it! And the other one did have to be removed but all the other 16 tumors came back benign!!! Every single bump she grew before that point for 3 years leading up to it had come back as cancer!
That’s our success story with Shakeology and I wanted to share it with you. There’s so much to be said for an amazing product, like Shakeology and it’s worth every penny!!
