How to Define Your Target Market

You must know who your target market is in order to help that target market solve a specific problem and therefore, bring in a profit for your personal business. I struggled with this for years and I want to share with you a target market strategy that will help define your customers. Network Marketing is a profession and just like every business, it thrives on customers and knowing who is looking for what you have to offer.

My biggest advice to you on who your target market is to define who YOU are… be specific. What have you been through? What’s your story? What’s your passion? Who are you hoping to be more like? Who are your mentors (in person or from afar)? What kind of products and services do you have to offer? What’s the mindset of the person that’s ready to check out what you have right now? What are they thinking? Where do they hangout?  Again… you’ll answer these questions in terms of who are, who you were and who you’re striving to become.

Don’t be afraid to tell your story. Target market research shows the more specific your story is, the more people are going to gravitate towards you for the right reasons. Sometimes, the examples of the struggles you have gone through can help others looking for what may have helped you.  If you try to be something that you’re not, the people around you may be the same. Are those the people that you really want to become? Wouldn’t you rather be around the people who you can relate to and help? If your answer is yes, then you have your target market segmentation and can now market to your Whether you are in network marketing, MLM, or have another type of business, you must have customers in order to be successful. This video will help you determine who your customers are so that you can go out and find them.
